Beer stolen from Essa golf course

Crime Stoppers of Simcoe-Dufferin-Muskoka and Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are seeking the assistance of the public in helping to solve a break, enter and theft from a local golf course.

Between May 17 and Sept. 19 there have been seven occurrences of theft of beer from an Essa Township golf club outbuilding.

Sometime overnight between Sept. 11 and 12, the security cameras captured images of the suspect entering the building and removing two cases of beer. It is believed that this suspect may be involved in the other thefts with a total of 28 cases of beer being taken with a retail value of over $3,700.
