Atom Icebreakers win 'B' final during busy weekend

The Atom 2 Icebreakers played in the Rice Lake/Bewdley Tournament Dec. 8.

Game one - Lefroy 4, Peterborough 0 - Goals by Mackenzie Furlong (2), Mackenzie Crawford (1) and Mathew Nangle (1) with an assist by Mackenzie Crawford. Awesome goaltending by Thomas Griffiths.

Game two - Lefroy 2, Nobleking 9 - Both goals by Mackenzie Furlong with assists by Darius Kondrotas, Kameron Sturgess, Craig Henderson and Mackenzie Crawford.

Game three - Clarington 2, Lefroy 3 - Two goals by Craig Henderson along with one goal by Mackenzie Crawford wrapped up the last game winning the 'B' final. Assists by Cameron and Mackenzie Furlong.

On Dec. 9, Thornton edged Lefroy 3-2. First goal by Mackenzie Furlong, assisted by Kameron Sturgess followed by the second goal by Jimmy Hilson, assisted by Mackenzie Furlong. Busy weekend and hard fought games boys, congratulations!
