Three injured in two vehicle collision

Three people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries following a two vehicle collision on the 8th Line at Barrie Street in Bradford last Tuesday evening.

Police report that a Mazda 323 was travelling westbound on the 8th Line waiting to turn left on Barrie.

A Volkswagen Jetta was travelling eastbound through the intersection when the Mazda proceeded to make a left hand turn directly into its path. The Volkswagen was unable to stop in time and collided with the Mazda.

The driver and a passenger in the Mazda and a passenger in the Volkswagen were all transported to hospital. The driver of the Mazda, a 70- year-old Bradford man, has been charged with failing to yield under the Highway Traffic Act.
