Lacrosse registration coming up

Innisfil Minor Lacrosse is offering a free lacrosse stick to everyone that registers before March 31. Due to our successful year in 2007, we wanted to offer something to allow more kids to try the game and make it more affordable for parents.

A free Gait lacrosse stick and ball will be given to all registrants from three to 12 years old, while 13 to 16- year-olds will be getting a $20 coupon for the purchase of a stick so they can choose one that is applicable to their caliber.

The new three to sixyear old Soft Lacrosse program will be helmets and gloves only, there will be no contact and it will be a $60 registration fee.

It is once a week for twelve weeks, and allows for an introduction to the sport while getting the little ones involved in a sporting environment.

With the free stick program Innisfil Minor Lacrosse is offering this year, this program is a bargain for parents.

Registration dates are scheduled for Feb. 3 and March 2 at the Stroud Arena, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. New registrants must provide a birth certificate.
