Pesticides continue to be dangerous for the environment

It never ceases to amaze me that people will continue to use pesticides or herbicides on their lawn despite the well known fact that its not good for the environment and directly impacts our lakes and drinking water, thus affecting our health, all for the sake of having the most attractive looking lawns.

How superficial. Give me a safe lake that my children and I can bathe in without having it closed down because it's not clean enough to swim in, safe drinking water and good health any day over perfect looking green grass which was not meant to look so perfect anyway. Weeds aren't pretty, but everything in nature has its purpose and place, then humans screw everything up by interfering with nature and doing what they please for their own selfish materialistic desires.

No century more than this one has so damaged the earth than at any other time. With all our modern conveniences which are supposed to make our lives easier, it seems people have never worked so hard and had more stress.
