      Ontario's political leaders need to rethink the way their constituents live. Hundreds of healthcare and government officials met to discuss a fundamental shift that needs to occur in communities across the continent, during the annual Association of Local Public Health Agencies (alPHa) 2008 conference, which was held in Alliston earlier this week.

      The County of Simcoe reached a milestone last month when council approved the Simcoe Area Growth Plan. This important document will now be used as a framework for the county's Official Plan. We have been working through the process for more than a year with extensive public consultation and committee work.
