Refusal of crosswalk considered negligent
      This letter is addressed to every member of the town council of Innisfil. I am the parent of a child that attends St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Elementary School. Your decision to deny the installation of a crossing walk at the corner of Anna Maria and Maclean streets is one of the most negligent decisions every made.

Wing Ding was a rousing success, thanks to volunteers
      The Cookstown and District Chamber of Commerce held its 25th annual Wing Ding on June 7th and 8th and it was a rousing success. There were many volunteers who contributed to Wing Ding and I would like to thank them wholeheartedly.

Library sold a record number of books at Wing Ding
      Thank you to all the Friends of the Innisfil Public Library. You made the 25th annual Cookstown Wing Ding a huge success for the library. We had more books donated and sold this year than in any previous year. We also received a surprise donation from Marian Houghton's daughter.
