Simone finishes 22nd in Dickies 200
      The Dickies 200 was held at Mosport International Raceway recently, and the Simone Autosport team came into it with high expectations. The driver, Anthony Simone of Holland Landing, had a long history of karting and openwheel racing, and road courses are known to be one of his strengths.

Paperweights take consolation title
      The Simcoe Trophy sponsored paperweight selects were in Mimico this weekend for their 2008 tournament. In the first game, they were up against Mississauga, coming out on the short end 12- 5. Scoring for Innisfil were James Hardie (3), Josh Turza one goal and one assist, Justin Brown one goal, Tristan Smee one assist.

Stampeders edge Vaughan with a 1-0 win
      On Thursday, June 12, 2008 at Innisfil Beach Park the U13 Girls Rep Stampeders Soccer team faced Vaughn in a quick paced match. The Stampeders really worked the Vaughan goalie and ended the game with a 1-0 win, goal credited to Lydia Morrison, assisted by Rachel Parker. Goalie Katelyn Kerr got the shutout for the Stampeders. Great effort girls.

Wolfpack wins piling up
      June 5: The Orillia Kings travelled to the Stroud Arena to play the Innisfil Restored Sports Novice lacrosse team. The Wolfpack knew this game would not be easy as the Orillia team came into Stroud undefeated. The first period was full of action as both teams held each other off defensively around the nets.
