Council needs to make Kimvar agreement public
      As an attendee at the Innisfil council meeting of Sept. 17th, I wish to say how disappointed I am at the conduct of mayor Brian Jackson and most of council. Councillor Dan Davidson was following the proper procedure to obtain information on the council's decisions, to which he and the citizens are entitled.

Reasons for participating in the political process
      One thing for sure and something the big polls aren't telling us — there's a huge undecided segment of voters who don't know who to vote for at this stage of the election campaign. So, the election is far from set in stone and those voters can make a huge difference in the outcome — from a Conservative majority (hopefully not) to a Liberal minority or more.

The need for sidewalks on St. John's Road
      I could not agree more with the thoughts of Scott Durham in last weeks edition of The Scope, regarding the need for sidewalks on St. John's Road. I have commuted daily to Newmarket from Alcona for the past 10 years. Recently, I secured local employment. I thought of all the immediate benefits; cutting gas costs, reduce wear and tear on my vehicle and time savings.
