On Thursday September 18, not only did they win the Central East Soccer League Championship, but they did so with an undefeated record of 13 wins and three ties, to finish the season with 42 points. In total, they scored 47 goals, while allowing only 13.
The team held high standards for themselves and set many impressive goals to achieve this season, three of which included winning the CESL Cup Championship in August, winning the CESL league and go undefeated. They accomplished all of this with great sportsmanship, unstoppable determination, and impressive teamwork. Congratulations girls, all your hard work and effort allowed you to reach this level of success.
Team members include Mackenzie Simpson, Tia Clemmensen, Laura Benson, Molly Kastle, Kylee Innes, Hannah Boeje, Rachel Parker, Katelyn Kerr, Rebecca McFarland, Megan Ramsay, Makayla Smith, Alex Pollard, Lydia Morrison, Keanna Fullerton, and Kira French.
The girls would like to thank the coaching staff, Donna Kastle, Kent Pollard, Lisa Fullerton, and Kellie Innes. Thank you to the parents and family for all your time and support to allow such a successful season. The team also thanks their sponsors.
