For the last 55 years, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion in Belle Ewart have been hosting a Christmas bazaar and craft sale. The sale helps raise money for the auxiliary, and promote the legion within the community, says auxiliary vice president Kenda Prestidge. More ... Apple pies are now for sale at Lefroy United Church. Homemade pies are available for $7. These are made by the people of the church and frozen immediately. There are limited quantities available. The Gibson Centre's Honda Performance Hall was crawling with all sorts of creatures recently, during the drama program's final presentation of Dr. Seuss' The Lorax, a story about the need to save the environment. More ... Original paintings and fine beadwork have been contributed by over 20 local artists, for a gallery fundraising exhibition at the Gibson Centre in Alliston.
