If my research into wind power provided me with the facts that turbines were a viable form of energy that reduced green house gas emissions, or would not raise my taxes or my energy bills, More ... I would like to see more positives where we can go for a better Canada. I do wish for an elected senate, with no attachment to the House of Commons, lower taxes and smarter spending with money going to post secondary education, infrastructure, transportation and electrical power improvement. More ... I have been reading with interest the dilemma we have with our local citizens, council and the wind power companies. I would recommend the wind towers be erected offshore, about a half a mile (or more) in Lake Simcoe, Lake Ontario, or even in Lake Superior, where the wind never stops blowing. This would eliminate any concerns with residents, land and the environment. More ... |
