Lakers stretch winning streak to 13 games after beating King Wild
      Thirteen seems to be a lucky number for the Innisfil Lakers. With a total of 13 players missing for the Lakers' affair at the Dr. William Laceby Arena and Community Centre in Nobleton Saturday against the King Wild, and having only 13 players in their own lineup, Innisfil were able to grind out a 5-3 win for their 13th straight victory.

Eastern European hockey invades Innisfil, as Lakers face Kazakhstan team
      Some Eastern European hockey stars are preparing to invade Innisfil. On Sunday, the Innisfil Lakers Junior A hockey club will play the Kazakhstan Under 17 team in an exhibition game. The game, which will take place at the Innisfil Recreation Complex at 2:30 p.m.
