Two Innisfil libraries were broken into recently.

Someone broke into the Cookstown branch sometime last weekend, gaining entry by forcing open a door. Once inside, the suspect removed a small quantity of money from a cash box.

Sometime between late Saturday afternoon and early Monday morning, a suspect also entered the Churchill branch. Entry was also gained through a door. Once inside, the suspect took a small quantity of money and a cellular phone.

The investigation into both incidents is continuing.
