New Year's levy: It was a great success, everyone had a good time, greeting old friends and neighbours. We were joined by Innisfil deputy mayor Gord Wauchope, and two town councillors. The lunch and moose milk were enjoyed by all. All of us at Branch 547 wish everyone a Happy New Year.

Robbie Burns dinner: Will be held Jan. 26, starting at 6:30 p.m. It will feature a traditional Burns dinner with all the trimmings, including Maggie's own Haggis.

Our pipe band will be in attendance and the Haggis will be piped into the hall. After a concert from our pipe band, we will be entertained by our very own DJ, Bill Van Berkel. Karaoke will be available for the singers in the crowd. Tickets are available from Joyce at 431-9231, for a cost of $20.

Call her soon, as this is always a very popular event. Watch for fliers in the Lefroy post office and local businesses.

Membership is due by the end of January, this is a must, if you want to keep active in the branch.
