Police retract statement

South Simcoe Police have issued a retraction regarding an incident that appeared in the Jan. 2 edition of The Scope.

The incident occurred during a RIDE program stop in Bradford Dec. 21. Police claimed a 43-year-old Tottenham man had been charged with impaired driving. He was not charged and was released unconditionally.
