Lefroy atoms score big

The Lefroy Icebreakers Atom 1 played their first game against Innisfil winning 7-5. It was an exciting game with two goals scored by Austin Lacey, two by Braydon Nickle, two by Brandon Marsh and one by Ray Challoner.

Assists by Ray Challoner (2), Roman Giannitti (2), Braydon Nickle (2) and one each for David Donner, Christopher Bergstrom and Brandon Marsh. MVP was Braydon Nickle.

Atom 1's second game was against Barrie winning 5-3. Another great game with goals by Ray Challoner, Braydon Nickle and Austin Lacey got an amazing hat trick. Assists by Roman Giannitti (2), Brandon Marsh (2), Braydon Nickle, and Ray Challoner. MVP was Ashley Challoner. Putting them into the A finals.

The championship game was against Lefroy Atom 3. This was a fast paced and exciting game with the final results of Lefroy Atom 3 winning 5-2. A great game played by Lefroy Atom 1 with goals by Braydon Nickle and Austin Lacey, with assists by Bradley Leonard, Josh Purcell and Christopher Bergstrom. MVP was Austin Lacey.

The Lefroy Icebreakers Atom 2 started their day meeting Barrie with a 4-2 loss. It was a tight game with goals scored by Mathew Nangle and Jimmy Hilson. Assists by Craig Henderson and Mackenzie Furlong.

Next taking on the Bradford team, it was another close game, with the Icebreakers losing 5-4. Goals by Jimmy Hilson, Craig Henderson, Mackenzie Crawford and Jason Tondevold.

Playing Innisfil last winning 4-0 took the Lefroy 2 team to win the C finals. An awesome hat trick by Mackenzie Furlong along with a great goal by Jimmy Hilson. Assists by Cooper, Craig Henderson and Nick DeRoy (AP). Great goaltending by Thomas Griffiths.
