Four taken to hospital after crash

On Jan. 7, a serious two vehicle personal injury collision occurred at the intersection of the 7th Line and Yonge Street in Innisfil.

A westbound motor vehicle travelling on the 7th Line failed to stop for a stop sign and continued through the intersection. The westbound vehicle struck a southbound vehicle.

The driver of the southbound vehicle and two passengers were removed from the vehicle by Innisfil Fire and Rescue Service members and transported to hospital by ambulance with serious but non life threatening injuries. The other driver was also transported by ambulance with non life threatening injuries.

All people involved were from the Innisfil area.

Mild temperatures and fog were contributing factors to the collision.

Police are continuing their investigation.
