A silver moment

Innisfil's deputy mayor Gord Wauchope, presented the Innisfil Minor Hockey Association's Midget AE team with their winning banner recently. The team, which is sponsored by Wild Wing South Barrie, won the Regional Silver Stick Championships in New Tecumseth recently. The team also advanced to the Silver Stick international tournament in Wellesley earlier this month, where they were defeated in the semifinal's by E.G. That team ended up taking the championship.
