LEGION NEWS
by Ed Collins

Robbie Burns dinner: What a party! Everyone had a great time.

The food was excellent, the band superb, and Billy McBerkel was in good form. Everyone says they can't wait for next year.

Valentine dinner: Will be on Sunday February 10. It will feature roast beef, Yorkshire Pudding, mashed potatoes, gravy and all of the trimmings.

We are already receiving plenty of calls, so if you are planning to attend call Joyce at 431-9231 or Maggie at 456-7293 to reserve you place.

Price for this event will be $9. So if you missed Robbie Burns you can make up for it for by bringing your favourite Valentine out for a nice dinner.

Euchre night: Keep Feb. 15 open for a night of euchre. The cost will be $10, which includes snacks. More information to follow.

Our dart team won their tournament on Saturday, and will be advancing to District darts which will be held in Everett. Congratulations to Donny, Lloyd, Al, and Clem. Let's bring home some hardware, eh?

Our branch is open Friday and Saturday from 2 to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m., so why not get some of your friends together a join us for an afternoon of cards, pool or darts? The Saturday meat draw is a very popular event, come out and try your luck for some very choice pieces of meat.
