Atom team pulls off upset

Icebreakers Atom 1

Lefroy Atom 1 pulled off an amazing game Thursday night with a 3-3 tie.

At the end of the first period the score was 3-0 for Lefroy 3.

In the second period, Austin Lacey started the scoring with assists from Chris Bergstrom and Ray Challoner. The next goal was from Braydon Nickle, with assists coming from Talon Gorman and Brandon Marsh.

The third period went back and forth with our defense shutting down Lefroy 3. Braydon Nickle scored an unassisted goal while our goalie Ashley Challoner kept sharp in the net. Way to go team 1.

Icebreakers Atom 2

Saturday January 26 - On Saturday, Lefroy travelled to Oak Ridges only to lose a hard fought game 5-2. Awesome goal by Cooper Primosig assisted by Mackenzie Crawford. Second goal by Mackenzie Furlong assisted by Mathew Nangle. Then on Sunday, Lefroy 2 took on Lefroy 1 losing 4-2 in a tough game. Goals by Mackenzie Furlong with Cooper Primosig assisting. Great goaltending by Thomas Griffiths.
