For nearly 30 years, Scott Tupling has been getting the best bang for his customer's buck.

The owner of Tupling Insurance Brokers inherited the family business from his father, who started the company in Bradford in 1952. Since then, the company has grown and expanded into Innisfil, with an office located in Alcona.

Last week, the company celebrated it's one year anniversary in that office, with a customer appreciation night.

Several clients and local dignitaries attended the event, which gave Tupling an opportunity to show gratitude for the years of dedication customers have shown, he said.

"It's just a way to thank our clients for allowing us to be their insurance broker," said Tupling. "We just wanted to show the people of Innisfil that we're here and we plan on being here for a long time."

Tupling says the office also allows company employees to provide better service to clients.

That superior service and knowledgeable staff make the company unique.

"The staff here stand out," he said.

"They're very professional, extremely knowledgeable and very courteous. They're looking after the clients in a manner that's going to provide a long term service for them. We offer the personal service.

"Between the staff here, we're trying to keep insurance simple for our clients."

Population growth in the Alcona area has helped ensure the company's success, said Tupling.

"With the growth that's going to happen here in the next three to five years, a lot of people are going to need insurance services," he said. "We felt there was a need up here for another insurance broker in Innisfil, particularly in the Alcona Beach area, with the number of new businesses and homes being built."

The company is a general broker, and offers a variety of insurance packages, including coverage for homes, cars and businesses, said Tupling.

"We can provide all lines of general insurance, right from business to cottages and seasonal (homes)," he said. "We can offer a wide variety of insurance companies and packages."

Tupling is a member of the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario.
