Essa council beginning budget deliberations

Essa council will begin work on its 2008 budget at the beginning of next month.

Council agreed to a schedule which will see budget meetings held on the afternoons of March 5 and 19. The meetings will run between 1 and 5 p.m. and are the regular dates for council meetings.

Depending on its progress on the budget, council will also meet on April 16 between 3 and 5 p.m. to complete the budget.

Council plans to pass the budget on April 16. The public is welcome to attend the budget sessions, which will be held at the township administrative building.
