Charity wants home

A surplus piece of township land on Malcolm Street in Angus may be the next site for a new home by Habitat for Humanity.

Council said Wednesday night that they would consider selling the property to Habitat for Humanity/Huronia which has built a number of homes for lower income families in Simcoe county.

The charity is looking for properties which would allow for the construction of 1,100 square foot semi-detached
