Lefroy church will host World Day of Prayer service World Day of Prayer: Friday March 7th at Lefroy United Church beginning at 1 p.m. The country featured this year will be Guyana. For information, call Lynn Johnston at 733-3692. Poor Tom will play at the Grange Hall in Lefroy. Adapting elements of Celtic, folk, bluegrass, blues and country roots music, with classic rock and classical music. Poor Tom has created a sound all their own. Special performances by our own local talent. This event will take place Saturday March 29th from 7 to 10 p.m. Coffee, tea and snacks will be available. Bridal events: Lefroy United Church will be hosting two bridal events at the Grange Hall on Church Street April 26th. First up is a bridal show for brides and their entourage from 10 a.m. to 4 pm. Then, starting at 7p.m., a fashion show featuring vintage bridal wear. Admission fee for the fashion show of $10 includes refreshments. Local businesses wishing to showcase their products and services for a nominal fee of $20 (tables provided) are asked to contact Andrea or Patti for more information. They will also be happy to arrange space for anyone wishing to sell bridal wear on consignment.
