Sewer system will cost residents

Further the ongoing debate about the development, here's an unscientific survey.

I surveyed three local plumbers who are very familiar with the area at Big Bay Point to be serviced by sewers as a result of Geranium spending; the $10 million cost of making the service available in the area.

This cost pales in comparison to the amount the 1,600 homes to be serviced, will have to pay. The three plumbers all said the cost would range from $10,000 to $30,000 per household.

If you use a low number of $15,000 per household, times 1,600 homes, the

result is $24 million. Should we thank Geranium?

I can only wonder what error I have made in this letter for which I will be called to task by the corporation.
Bill Rushworth,
Innisfil
