Poor Tom playing at the Grange Hall this month

Poor Tom will be playing at the Grange Hall in Lefroy March 29, after opening for musical legend Murray McLauchlan earlier that day.

Poor Tom is the meeting of two musical worlds, Wanda Stride's Newfoundland roots and Susan Luke's Virginia roots.

The ladies have been playing together since 2002, mining their classical backgrounds to create a fresh, lively sound all their own.

Ever-changing instrumentation and original folk songs with a Celtic edge form the basis of their passion for sharing stories and music.

The evening will kick-off with plenty of local talent taking the stage. The evening will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
