Dancing the day away

      There was some dance madness at the Innisfil Public Library last week. The library's Lakeshore and Churchill branches each hosted a Dance Madness workshop last week, where children between six and 12 years old received an hour of dance lessons from professional instructor Sarah Webster.

      The Innisfil Public library has storytimes and after school programs for children of all ages. Join staff for stories, rhymes, songs, games and crafts; an excellent introduction to reading and a great way for children to meet others their age.

A hairy school challenge

      Victoria Robertson recently got most of her hair cut off, and she wants many of her schoolmates to follow suit. The Sunnybrae Public School Grade 1 had several inches of her golden blonde hair snipped off last month, donating the now headless ponytail to Angel Hair For Kids.
