DVDs seized from market

The South Simcoe Police Criminal Investigations Unit, with assistance from the public, was made aware of the sale of illegal DVDs recently. A 20-year-old Toronto man was arrested at the 400 Market in Innisfil for the sale of the unauthorized videos, some of which are not released to the public yet. Two youths, aged 16 and 17, were also charged in relation to this incident. All three parties were released with court dates in April.

The public is asked to contact police if they come across DVDs and video movies which are being sold and yet are still in theatres.
