Town Hall's urban and rural design is looking pretty ugly

I was just sitting here reading last week's Scope, in particular the article on Page 2 about council's first meeting at the New Town Hall.

Granted, the inside of the building may look very nice and be very functional, however I can not (nor anyone I have spoken to) share deputy mayor Gord Wauchope's view on the looks of the exterior of this building. I realize that it was designed to reflect both the rural and urban setting of our community, but I have lived in the area for about 40 years and have yet to see a farm in Innisfil where the barn sits out in front of the house (maybe that part, The Barn, should have been placed at the rear of the building where it can't be seen by people visiting our community). Like it or not, that is my opinion.
