Night at the Museum planned for next week Isn't it grand to see the snow going away? I even found crocus trying to peek through the snow on my lawn on Sunday afternoon. Do you have your tickets for the best show around? The Thornton Skating Club will be presenting A Night at the Museum on ice. Their skating carnival will be held Saturday April 5 with 1:30 and 7:00 p.m. shows. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children and seniors. The skaters have been working hard all winter perfecting their skating skills and the show is always a pleasure to watch. For more information or tickets call Charlene at 739-9226. The Thornton Lions wish to thank everyone who came out and made their Good Friday pancake breakfast a success. The proceeds went towards the Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre, bringing the Thornton Lions and the Village of Thornton closer to their pledged amount.
