Clean-up during Pitch-In Day

The Town of Innisfil's annual Pitch-In Day will take place on Saturday May 10. All interested volunteers must sign in at their local fire stations by 9 a.m. Safety tips will be reviewed and garbage bags and latex gloves will be passed out at that time.

Secondary school students participating in this program must bring their Community Involvement Activity Forms for signature by a volunteer firefighter or committee member upon completion in order to receive acknowledgment.

An appreciation barbecue will be held at the Churchill Community Centre at 12 p.m. There will be four fire stations participating in the event, including the Stroud, Alcona, Lefroy and Cookstown branches of the Innisfil Fire and Rescue Service.
