Plant sale returning Vendors wanted: The Gilford and District Horticultural Society will once again sponsor the South Innisfil Arboretum Plant and Vendor Sale. The annual giant sale will be held on May 17th from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be lots of flowers for sale (right from members' gardens), nearlynew tables, bake tables, raffle, crafts, a barbecue and much more. They invite vendors to join us at a cost of $15 per space, plus $5 for a table. For more information, please call Evie Teras at 436-4776 to reserve your space, since they are limited. Join them for lots of fun at Shorecrest and the 20th Sideroad in Gilford. Bridal events: Lefroy United Church will be hosting two bridal events at the Grange Hall on Church Street April 26th. First, a bridal show for brides and their entourage will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Then, starting at 7 p.m., a fashion show featuring vintage bridal wear. Admission fee for the fashion show of $10 includes refreshments. Local businesses wishing to showcase their products and services for a nominal fee of $20 (tables provided) are asked to contact Andrea or Patti for more information. They will also be happy to arrange space for anyone wishing to sell bridal wear on consignment.
