A pampering will take place at the Simcoe County Museum

The Simcoe County Museum will be having its latest fundraising event Pedicures and Parasols on Sunday May 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Pedicures and Parasols promises to be a relaxing and indulgent event for the ladies with spa services offered by Lake County Spa and afternoon tea being served throughout the day. Come with a group of girls or bring your mother for a pre-Mothers Day treat. There will be a marketplace for shopping and free entry to the museum. There will also be a display on the history of pampering and cosmetics.

"We are excited to launch the first ever Pedicures and Parasols at the museum," said county general manager of health and cultural services Jane Sinclair.

"This relaxing and inviting day will focus on the women of our community by offering modern spa services to help break down those dailygrind tensions and make us all feel special again."
