Lefroy 2 ends year on winning note

Lefroy Novice 2 started our weekend tournament in Ajax playing Fujiki Dental of Ajax with a 10-0 win. An awesome game for all our players with goals by Braydon Nickle (5), Jamie Henderson (2), Connor Durham, Bradley Mortlock and Taylor Carswell. Assists by Austin Dempster, Nick Stella, Taylor Carswell, Braydon Nickle, Dakota Smith, Bradley Mortlock and Jamie Henderson. Great shutout by Jordan Austin. MVP of the game was Bradley Mortlock.

On Friday, Lefroy 2 was up against the Ajax OPG team with another win of 7- 1. Braydon Nickle with a hat trick along with single goals by Bradley Mortlock, Jamie Henderson, Nick Stella and Connor Durham. Assists by Taylor Carswell (2), Bradley Mortlock, Jamie Henderson, Nick Stella and Connor Durham. MVP of the game was Nick Stella.

On Saturday, Lefroy 2 continued their winning streak with a 7-1 win over the Richmond Royals. Again, another four awesome goals by Braydon Nickle, along with goals by Nick Stella, Nick Deroy and Jamie Henderson. Assists by Austin Dempster, Taylor Carswell and Braydon Nickle. MVP of the game is Braydon Nickle.

On Sunday, Lefroy 2 won their semi-final game against the Caravan Maroon team from Ajax. Goals by Braydon Nickle (4) and a single by Nick Stella. Assists by Jamie Henderson, Bradley Mortlock, Nick Stella and Dakota Smith. MVP of the game was Jordan Austin. This took us to the finals in the A Division, with Lefroy 2 taking on Peterborough in a tough game. Single goals by Nick Stella, Jamie Henderson and Braydon Nickle were enough to win 3-1 to wrap up the year. Assists by Braydon Nickle, Logan Shaw and Bradley Mortlock. Great net minding by Jordan Austin. MVP of the game was Dakota Smith.
