Three charged for speeding
      Nottawasaga OPP charged three drivers for stunt driving and exceeding the posted speed limit by over 50 kilometres per hour on Friday. Teddy Ames of Clearview, 36, was stopped for doing 133 in an 80 km/h zone on County Road 10 in Essa.

      Narrow subdivision streets could face parking restrictions. Innisfil council has asked town staff to investigate the feasibility of making no parking zones along one side of narrow streets within existing and future subdivisions.

      Man gives police officer false identity On April 21 at approximately 12:35 p.m., a plain clothes South Simcoe Police officer observed a man walking along Britannia Avenue in Bradford with a case of beer in one hand and an open bottlle of beer in the other.

Five cases cleared by Crime Stoppers
      During the month of March 2008, Crime Stoppers of Simcoe-Dufferin-Muskoka received 191 calls. These calls assisted the police in the clearance of five cases including theft under $5,000, possession of stolen property and other Criminal Code offences.

Hamilton man found for South Simcoe Police
      On April 13, the Huronia West OPP arrested a 25-yearold man from Hamilton on the strength of a warrant for a failing to appear held by the South Simcoe Police. The man was transported back to Bradford, where he was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Barrie on April 14th.
