New parking restrictions may be implemented Narrow subdivision streets could face parking restrictions. Innisfil council has asked town staff to investigate the feasibility of making no parking zones along one side of narrow streets within existing and future subdivisions. Councillor Bill Pring says the plan would be implemented for safety reasons. "Council has concerns with parking within recently constructed subdivisions that impede the flow of traffic, particularly emergency and town road service vehicles," he said. If implemented, the plan could include rotating no parking zones between both sides of narrow subdivision streets, on either a weekly or monthly basis. |
