Planting the seeds of an annual sale

The Gilford and District Horticultural Society will once again sponsor the South Innisfil Arboretum Giant Plant, Yard, Vendor, Barbecue and Bake Sale May 17.

The sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. We will have lots of flowers for sale (right from member's gardens), nearly-new tables, bake tables, raffle, crafts, a barbecue and more.

Join the group for a stroll around their tree park, visit their new water wise and ornamental grass gardens and a perennial bed.

The event will be held on Shore Crest and the 20th Sideroad in Gilford.
