Coffee cups being composted

Simcoe County residents will be able compost their paper coffee cups when the new organics recycling program is launched later this year.

Members of the corporate services committee were told last week that the cups will be allowed into the mix of items which can be used for recycling.

The program will start in all county municipalities later this fall.
