School board undergoing strategic planning process

The Simcoe County District School Board is currently undergoing a strategic planning process to guide future directions for the use of information and communication technology.

The ultimate goal of this process is to increase student engagement in the learning process and improve their achievement.

As part of this initiative, we are consulting with key stakeholders including students, parents, staff, and community members across the county. Several consultation sessions will be held at schools throughout the region over the next few weeks. Banting Memorial High School in Alliston will hold a session May 13, while Barrie Central Collegiate Institute will host May 15. Both sessions begin at 7 p.m.
