The Way We Were
Stroud school fair parade
Marching along the main street of Stroud, with banner held high, are the students and teachers of Stroud School during a fair in 1924. This annual fair included a parade of all participating local schools, as well as the exhibiting and judging of animals, vegetables, flowers and talents. Discontinued in 1965, the fair was a fall highlight for a mainly rural Innisfil.
