      As a member of the Lake Simcoe Environmental Management Strategy (LSEMS) Working Group, I was heavily involved in establishing the strategy for the action plan which ultimately evolved into the Lake Simcoe Protection Act, the Lake Simcoe Protection Plan and its regulations.

Greed and bad planning behind annexation
      We live in Lefroy; should the Barrie annexation come to pass we would not have to change our address, yet. Who knows how much more land Barrie will want in the future. It appears that greed and bad planning is the root cause of this issue.
