Caledon won last Tuesday's game, 9-4 at the Stroud Innisfil Recreation Complex. The two teams had a remtach yesterday at Mayfield. The lowly Innisfil Wolfpack continued their poor play against their division rivals last week, losing to the Caledon Bandits last Tuesday (June 23) and to the Centre Wellington Warlords Friday (June 26).

The Wolfpack are now 0- 8-1 against the West Division. They lost 9-4 at the Stroud-Innisfil Recreation Complex against the Bandits, then were dropped by 10 goals, losing 13-3 at the Warlords' Fergus Arena.

"We've got to come a lot harder," said Wolfpack assistant captain Nigel Labatte after the Caledon loss. "We're not getting the greatest warm ups, which means we've got to be more aggressive and more pumped up to start games."

Innisfil didn't score a goal in the first period during the Caledon game, though they bounced back the rest of the way with Josh Robinson (two), Sean Aron and Johnathon Batton all scoring for the Wolfpack. The nine Caledon goals came from an always-strong scoring attack, led by Ryan Huggins (one goal, three assists) and Michael Brillantes (four assists), each having four-point nights.

The Wolfpack's three goals a period in Fergus weren't enough, as Zack Shore led the way for the Warlords with six helpers on the 13 home goals. Taylor Russell also had a hat trick and an assist for Centre Wellington, while Robinson, Troy O'Donnell and Cory Heaselgrave would score for Innisfil.

Innisfil (1-10-1 overall) play three of their remaining four games this week, which started at Mayfield Recreation Complex Tuesday (June 30). Results were unknown as of press time. They then start the month of July playing Friday at Garnett B.R. Arena against the Clarington Shamrocks (8-6), before playing Tuesday at home against the Warlords (4-6-1). The games all start at 8 p.m.
