Mayor Brian Jackson has apologized for his use of profanity during a recess at a council meeting last month, but not for allegedly threatening and assaulting a fellow councillor. Yes, it's summer, or so they say. I don't want to think of how many days in May and June we had rain, or the fact that the beginning of July is still seeing people walking around in sweaters. It's really rather scary to imagine that our summer is well under way and yet only a few people are brave enough to go swimming because the water is so cold. More...
