Collingwood Elvis Festival approaches
      The countdown is on; I'm waiting anxiously for the annual Collingwood Elvis Festival to get started. The lovefest for the 'King' brings upwards of 60,000 people each year, all coming together to pay homage to Elvis Presley. I am never surprised anymore at the age range or the mass appeal Presley generates.

      I attended the annual general meeting of the Barrie Simcoe MADD chapter, where I am a member. It is always eye-opening to realize how much has been done in a year by this very dedicated group of people with the common and very noble goal to stop impaired driving and support victims of this violent crime.
