Train strikes irrigation system in Essa
      On July 9th, Nottawasaga OPP officers were dispatched to a CP Rail train collision with an irrigation system just east of County Road 10, north of the 5th Sideroad in Essa Township.

Motorcyclist injured by impaired driver
      On Sunday July 12, South Simcoe Police officers were called to a motorcycle and car collision on Yonge Street, at County Road 89. After an investigation, the driver of the car, a 52-yearold Bradford man, was arrested and charged with impaired and over 80. The motorcyclist was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police cruisers nearly hit
      Trespasser arrested in Bradford On Saturday July 11, South Simcoe Police were called to a Bradford residence for an unwanted person. Officers arrested and removed a 43-year-old Bradford man from the home. He was charged with trespassing and intoxicated in public.

MADD hosting light show
      Crime Stoppers of Simcoe-Dufferin-Muskoka will host the annual Benefit Christmas Variety and Laser Light Show. The show features some of Canada's top entertainers including comedy, juggling, magic and a laser light show, with a guest appearance by Santa Claus.
