Last Saturday, my husband and I went to the movies. I really wanted to see Meryl Streep's performance as Julia Child in Julie & Julia. It's a story about a young married woman who decides to cook every recipe from Julia Child's cookbook, Mastering the Art of French Cooking, in one year. The idea intrigued me; I cannot imagine ever undertaking such a thing myself. More ... This is one of my favourite times of year. Students, teachers and parents are getting excited about the start of a new school year. It doesn't matter if you are starting Junior Kindergarten or university; it is the same. More ... Just a reminder to everyone to lock up vehicles. I've heard from several people that they have had their glove boxes and consoles rummaged through.
