Soccer Champs

The under-10 Innisfil select soccer team made history this year after finishing the season with an impressive 12-game winning streak. They concluded by defeating the South Simcoe team to win the Presidents Youth Cup and also clinching first place in their division with a 5-3 win over Barrie Sept. 19, which is something no other under-10 team has ever accomplished in the same season. The team consists of: Back row: coach Steve Manley, Mackenzie Mills, Karizzma Taylor, Samantha Diebert, Rian Scrimgeour, Ryan Fobert, Rayne Alan Elson. Front row: Benjamin McEwen, Lukas Taxiachris, Jonathan Melo, Jake Jones and Phillipe Arsenault. Missing from this photo: Nick Rosiello - assistant coach James Rosiello, Jake Heenan and Carey Horvath.
