Teen takes top writing prize
Writing success seems to run in Griffin Toplitsky's family. The Grade 10 student has entered the Innisfil Public Library's Seepe Walters Story Writing Contest five times, winning the grand prize on three occasions. Legal issues force mayor to resign from police board

Mayor Brian Jackson has temporarily resigned from the South Simcoe Police Services Board. Citing his ongoing legal issues as the reason for the resignation, Jackson says he submitted a memorandum to town council recently.
