CHURCHILL NEWS
      The Around the Corners Studio Tour takes place on Nov. 13th and 14th, and will be including the art of local Churchill resident, Joni Saunders. Making Churchill her home for over 30 years, Saunders originally hails from Buffalo, New York, where she studied at the Albright Academy of Fine Arts with Bell Aircraft, doing three dimensional design drawings of jet engines and rockets.

Remembrance service was well attended
LEGION NEWS
      Remembrance Sunday: What a memorable, beautiful November day it was. The parade included three serving members, two from the Canadian Armed Forces and one from the RCMP. The colour guard, pipe band, veterans, Royal Canadian Legion branch 547 members, local Scouts, Cub, Girl Guides, and Brownies marching together was quite a sight.

A successful Spin 4 Kids

      I took a drive with a good friend down to Nantyr Shores Secondary School Friday, to volunteer at the sixth annual Spin 4 Kids, a fundraiser to benefit the school and the Royal Victoria Hospital's Cancer Care Centre.
